Mrs. Hall’s Preschool Supply List

2010-2011

These supplies (except for the preschool journal) will be used by the entire class so there is no need to label them.

1 – 8 pack of Classic Crayola markers

1 bottle Elmer’s glue

1 box jumbo crayons

2 glue sticks

2 rolls Scotch tape

1 water color paint box (Prang brand)

2 boxes of tissues

1 package of wipes

1 ream of white copy paper

2 rolls of masking tape

1 preschool journal (They’re usually spiral bound and the upper half

of the paper is blank, the lower half is lined for printing)

Please feel free to donate craft supplies at anytime through the school year.  Here are some things that we can put to good use.

Kindergarten Readiness Supply List 2010-2011

Dear Parents,

Please bring these items to orientation before school starts.  All of our supplies will be shared by all KR students, except the folder and see through zipper pocket.  Please do not label any items except your child’s folder and zipper pocket.  Let your child know that you are bringing supplies for the whole class to share.  This year I am asking parents to send your child in shoes that s/he can put on and take off him/herself.  If you choose to send your child to school in shoes that tie, please teach your child to tie them before school starts.  On average, students take their shoes off once a day in class.  It is important that they can put them back on themselves to eliminate my time spent on tying shoes.

• 1 plastic 3 prong folder (Not 3 ring binder)
• 1 see through zipper pocket to put inside folder

Level A – Kindergarten/1^st Grade

• Oversized new white t-shirt (to be tye-dyed and worn over clothing on field trips – put name on tag)

• 1 standard supply box (not the huge ones)
• 1 pack Expo dry erase markers
• 2 take-home folders (can be designer)
• Personal-sized pencil sharpener (with cover to catch shavings)

• 1 package of name brand pencils (good quality)

• 1 hand held pencil sharpener (with cover to catch shavings)
• 1 package of markers
• 1 package of colored pencils
• 1 package of red pens
• 2 pencil boxes (one for pencils, scissors, etc., one for markers and colored pencils)
• 1 roll of Scotch tape

• 2 packages of glue sticks
• 1 plain flat clipboard

• 1 small adult scissor
• Gym shoes to be left at school for Phy Ed (mandatory)
