Preschool –

Mrs. Joan Hall has been the preschool teacher for three years and enjoys watching children explore their world through art, sensory, literacy, and play. She has a degree in Early Childhood Development from Pine Technical College. She is passionate about promoting school readiness and ensuring all children have a foundation that will assist them in their educational journey. She enjoys a great book, cooking, watching classic movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Kindergarten Readiness -

Mrs. Tina Castillo graduated from North Central University in 2004 with a BS in Elementary Education and a Minor in Biblical studies. Mrs. Castillo has a teaching license from the state of MN and has ministerial credentials through the Assemblies of God. She has taught Title One Reading in the public school system. She has been teaching at MAG Christian School for 5 years and has been our Kindergarten Readiness teacher for 4 of those years.

Level A -

Mrs. Heather Sandberg earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Middle School Language Arts through Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota. She is beginning her ninth year of teaching at MAG Christian School. In addition to all of her school children, Mrs. Sandberg has three children of her own. Mrs. Sandberg enjoys reading, playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and doing almost anything outdoors.

Level B -

Ms. Jodi Johnson has been with MAG for the past five years and is affectionately known by her students as Ms. J.  She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College.  She has taught in the field of Early Childhood and has worked as administrator of a childcare center.  She has also served as a Children's Pastor.

Art and Spanish -

Mrs.Jessica Beamond graduated from Northwestern College with a degree in Educational Studies - Visual Arts. She has been teaching at MAG Christian School for 2 ½ years. She is married and has 3 children (ages 6, 4, 2). She loves children and enjoys teaching through art. Jessica enjoys art, music, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Music and Life Skills -

Mrs. Gayle Ferderer  is in her 7^th year with MAG Christian School and is passionate about helping students not only develop a love of music, but also bridge the gap between just singing and truly worshiping God with their voices. Mrs. Ferderer came to MAG when her youngest of 8 children was entering first grade and has more than 25 years experience working with children.
